I would like to, one day, do an entire post about writing music out by hand, but for now here's a brief run through on the process of writing out page 8.
It starts with the non-photo blue pencil to mark beats, barlines and to measure the page out. After adding the instrument names, I draw the barlines. Don't forget to add the drafting powder to avoid smudging! Then I write everything in from bottom to top. 0.7mm pencil for noteheads and general writing, 0.5mm for indications, and 5B for larger markings and meter changes. Add the measure numbers, page number, do a general clean up with a dry-cleaning pad, and voila – done!
